SEN INFORMATION

SEN Coordinator (SENCo): Miss B. Glover & Mrs H. Hammersley

The principle that all pupils should receive a broad and balanced curriculum, relevant to their individual needs, is established in law. Every teacher is a teacher of every child, including those with Special Educational Needs or a Disability. The best available evidence from the EEF indicates that High Quality Teaching is essential to achieving best outcomes for all pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged and SEN children. We do, however, recognise that there will still be some children that need provision that is additional to or different from that encompassed by High Quality Teaching.

Any concerns about your child should be raised with your child’s class teacher in the first instance.  You can arrange to meet with them either before or after school by speaking to them directly or by contacting them via your child’s School Planner, or by contacting the school office on 01538 714796 to arrange an appointment.
