How do I apply for a place at Woodcroft Academy? 

The Senior Leaders and the Local Governing Committee at Woodcroft Academy are committed to developing an inclusive school that reflects the diversity of the local community. Admission to the School is not dependent on being a member of a particular faith community.  

 

All applications are considered against published criteria with no priority awarded for early applications.

All applications for Reception are dealt with by Staffordshire County Council Admissions.  An online application can be made when the online service opens on the 1st November 2022. The closing date for applications is the 15th January 2023.  If you have missed this deadline, then you can complete a late application form, which you will need to either email to admissions@@staffordshire.gov.uk or post to School Admissions and Transport Service, Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Place, Stafford, ST16 2DH

If your child has already begun school and you wish to apply for a place at Woodcroft Academy, we ask that you contact the school office (01538 714796) in the first instance to check that we have a space.  If we do have space then you will need to complete an in year admission form, please click here to download.

APPEALS

You have the right to lodge a formal appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel if you have been refused a place at your preferred Staffordshire school and you are dissatisfied with the school place offered.
