The Department for Education (DFE) have now published guidance and a link to support home learning.
Please click on the links box below to access information.
We hope you are managing to stay safe and well during these unprecedented times. We remain committed to supporting you and your families as far as we are able under these very challenging circumstances and within the guidelines set by the government. We will attempt to clarify this situation below.
The government has published guidance as to the list of key workers.
Within the guidance the government has asked:
Parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.
We will remain open for a small number of pupils but you should only send your child if there is no other safe alternative. It goes without saying that fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society.
